A new tank-car (“KAMAZ” make) has some advantages over the standard fire-engines. Its main advantage is that this is the cross-country car which will be able to arrive swiftly even to the most hard-to-reach site of the fire. Also among its advantages is the eight tons water storage (the water storage of the usual car - 2 300 tons). Not all populated places have the opportunity to renew the water storage, and a new car can fight a fire without renewal. This advantage is highly sought in conditions of the anomalous high temperature which is observed for some time past in summer that creates a fire dangerous situation and interruptions of water.
The car package includes 40 items of the fire-technical equipment, including hydraulic rescue instrument, which enables to conduct rescue operations in addition to operational fire fighting.
If necessary, the new car will be used to render assistance in such towns as Shakhtyorsk, Makeyevka, Donetsk.
