According to the research, in 2015 Metinvest transferred UAH 8.29 billion to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine. The tax amount excludes VAT reimbursement and some other payments.
One third of the TOP-100 largest Ukrainian companies are private industrial enterprises. Most of them represent fuel, energy, mining and metals. In 2015, the largest thirty industrial enterprises transferred approximately UAH 30 billion in taxes to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine, up 44% year-on-year. The industry provides for around 20% of all taxes in the first one hundred largest taxpayers of the country.
According to the Financial Statements, Metinvest Group’s enterprises transferred UAH 14.2 billion of taxes, duties and other payments to the budgets of all levels in 2015. This includes VAT on imported goods, customs duties and mandatory payments to the Pension Fund.
