Metinvest Ranked Among Ukraine’s Top 10 Employers and Tetiana Petruk Among Top 3 HR Directors

The magazine “TOP-100. Ratings of the Largest” and the business portal Delo.ua have recognised Metinvest as one of Ukraine’s top 10 employers for 2025 and named it a leader in business cooperation with educational institutions. In addition, they have ranked Tetiana Petruk, the Group’s chief sustainability officer, among the top three human resources directors (HRDs) in Ukraine.

The publications identified the 100 best employers in Ukraine, as well as 35 HRDs from leading Ukrainian companies across various sectors of the economy. In the initial stage, 150 companies participated in the rating, while 75 professionals competed for the title of HR leader.

An expert jury determined the winners of both ratings, taking into account the results of an online vote held on Delo.ua in May-June 2025. The jury assessed companies based on the level of personnel development, social benefits, HR process automation, corporate culture, and support for mobilised employees and veterans.

Metinvest ranked eighth among the best employers in Ukraine. The top ten also included ATB, MHP, Nova Poshta, OKKO, DTEK, Kyivstar, McDonald’s Ukraine, Farmak and Astarta.

The participants in the 2025 HRD rating were heads of HR departments from leading companies. They were assessed on their adaptability, leadership, project innovation, market authority and level of corporate culture.

Tetiana Petruk ranked third among the best HR leaders in Ukraine. The top five also included representatives from Kyivstar, Kernel, Nova Poshta and Astarta.

In addition, the Group won the special nomination “Leader in Business Cooperation with Educational Institutions” for establishing Metinvest Polytechnic, the first private mining and metals university. Metinvest Polytechnic has become a model for business integration into technical education. The Group’s specialists are involved in teaching, while students work on real projects and undertake internships. Metinvest has allocated UAH513 million to the university’s development, covers tuition fees and provides scholarships to the top students. The university prepares a European-level workforce. Over the past five years, more than 1,080 students have enrolled, 267 master’s degree students have graduated, 970 participants have completed advanced training courses, and 4,150 employees have undergone training sessions and courses.

Tetiana Petruk noted: “Business investment in education is not only a contribution to the Group’s future, but also a systematic solution to overcoming the staff shortage in the country. By establishing Metinvest Polytechnic, we have proven that the integration of business into higher technical education can shape an engineering elite who think innovatively, apply their knowledge in practice, and are already contributing to the restoration of industry.”
