"I started working while studying at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. I had my studentship in two academy's departments while my fellow students skipped their boring classes and idled away their time at the monument to Gregory Skovoroda. At the age of 19, I came to Procter&Gamble where I took the position of a finance manager. Then I asked myself: where do I want to be in 10 years? Later I became a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. I joined Metinvest the year it was founded. I simply sent my CV, they called me back one week later, my interviews and tests were successful, and they hired me. The tasks set were challenging, i.e. to bring all metallurgical and rolling capacity into the Steel and Rolled Product Division. In 2012, I was entrusted with Zaporozstal. Any new job I get I do as if it were my last one. The main thing is to achieve the maximum result here and now, and start thinking of what is next later."

В 38 лет – финансовый директор Метинвеста

Я родилась в Кривом Роге. Дедушка приехал в криворожский край в 1955 году по распределению транспортного института и начал работать помощником машиниста паровоза на только что созданном Южном ГОКе. Со временем он стал директором по коммерческой и финансовой части этого предприятия. Мои родители тоже работали на ЮГОКе. Общий стаж нашей семейной династии насчитывает более 150 лет. Сразу после школы попала на ЮГОК и я. По совету дедушки, перед вступительными экзаменами в Криворожский технический университет поработала на предприятии разнорабочей, после окончания вуза вернулась экономистом. Первое место работы в Группе - Центральный ГОК. Затем занималась финансами на Северном и Ингулецком комбинатах. В Метинвест пришла в 2010 году на должность директора по финансовому контролю Горнодобывающего дивизиона, а в 2016 году стала финансовым директором Группы. В работе для меня важно, чтобы было интересно. Мне нравится решать сложные задачи, взаимодействовать с новыми людьми. Если все процессы отлажены, значит, пора двигаться дальше.

The Succession Pool program has been deployed in the company since 2012. Before posting a vacancy add, we always look for suitable candidates among the employees currently employed with the enterprise. To do so, we select the best performers in various departments each year, help them improve their qualification and acquire the skills they need for promotion.

Participation in the company's development

We conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys using the approach proposed by an international consulting company. During the survey, employees share their views on the work process and make proposals. Following the surveys, we take into account the proposals and implement the changes. Thus, employees can make a personal influence to improve their working conditions.
