Application

Due to its low cost and high performance, steel grade 35 is widely used in the construction and machine building industries. This steel is used in steel structures (shaped and reinforcing bars), as well as in the production of various shafts, cylinders, gears, axles, discs and traverses. In rare cases, steel grade 35 is used when manufacturing large-sized mechanisms.

Welding

Steel grade 35 has limited weldability. The main welding methods are argon arc welding, manual arс welding, submerged arc welding and shielded arc welding. Heat treatment is recommended before welding.
