The broader list of IT subsidiaries of Ukraine’s largest companies was compiled based on two Forbes Ukraine rankings: 30 Digitalisation Champions, and 202 Largest Companies. The top 10 includes the companies with the highest revenues in 2025, as reported by YouControl.
According to the publication, the combined revenues of the 10 largest corporate IT subsidiaries rose by 40% year on year to UAH9.8 billion. In US dollar terms, this represented a 35% increase, to US$235 million.
The list also includes Modus X (DTEK), TemaBit (Fozzy Group), Nova Digital, Kyivstar.Tech, Naftogaz Digital Technologies, IT SmartFlex (Vodafone), Mint Innovations (Modern Expo), Kernel Digital and Foxteam Digital (Foxtrot).
Metinvest Digital ranked fifth. The company’s revenues reached UAH807 million in 2025, up 0.78% year-on-year. Its workforce decreased by around 17% over the past year and currently totals more than 700 employees.
As Forbes Ukraine reports, the revenues of Metinvest Digital’s parent company, Metinvest Group, fell by 7% year-on-year to US$5.5 billion in the first nine months of 2025. In January last year, due to advances on the frontline, the Group was forced to suspend operations at Pokrovske Coal Group, Ukraine’s largest producer of coking coal.
In 2025, Metinvest Digital focused on deploying artificial intelligence solutions to improve production efficiency, product quality and safety. The company enhanced machine-vision systems for defect detection at Zaporizhstal and rolled out the SPAIS project to monitor workforce safety using computer vision. The latter system makes it possible to track hazardous areas and verify compliance with personal protective equipment requirements on site.
Other AI-driven initiatives include Digital Legal Twin, an intelligent legal assistant that accelerates document workflows and improves the quality of legal analysis. Metinvest Digital also implemented solutions under the Ukrainian government’s SAF-T electronic-audit framework for Southern Iron Ore and automated HR management at Kamet Steel using SAP SuccessFactors. This project received recognition at the SAP Quality Awards 2025 as the year’s best business transformation project.
Metinvest Digital also works with the Group’s international assets and is actively expanding its external business. Up to 10% of the company’s revenues come from third-party clients. As of October 2025, its portfolio included eight such projects, as Metinvest Digital CEO Sergiy Detyuk noted in an interview with Forbes Ukraine in December.
The company expects that new IT projects for Metinvest will offset the forced reduction in service volumes caused by the war.
