On May 7, 2022 amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring the civil rights and liberties of citizens and the legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" entered into force. According to the document, businesses and entrepreneurs who are located/have residence in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine can operate only after changing their tax address.
Unfortunately, after February 24, 2022, some of the settlements in Ukraine are occupied or threatened with occupation, so the state may introduce an appropriate legal regime in such territories.
In order to minimize probable legal risks, preserve commercial relations and ensure uninterrupted operation of enterprises, Metinvest Group strongly recommends its counterparties to which this applies to change their location (tax address) for another territory of Ukraine.
