The decision was made by Metinvest Trametal and Ferriera Valsider Board of Directors following the Metinvest Shareholder Meeting that appointed Re as Director in both companies.
Re has a degree in Engineering and more than 18 years of experience in the steel industry. He joined Trametal in 1999 and has held various roles in sales throughout the company's development. In 2008, he was appointed as Head of Metinvest Western Europe Sales Organisation, responsible for the sale of Metinvest Group products in the EU. From July 2018 until now, he has been responsible for implementing a new sales organisation and distribution strategy in Europe as Head of Sales Metinvest Europe.
In his new position, Re will be responsible for the EBITDA of Metinvest Group production assets in Italy and will focus on increasing sales and operational efficiency.
He will report to the Metinvest Group Commercial Director.
Re's predecessor, Viktor Dembytsky, will continue his career in the Operational Directorate of Metinvest Group.
