Characteristics of St3ps-brand steel
St3ps is a semi-killed carbon steel for construction and general usage, and is used in various load-bearing and non-load-bearing elements of metal structures. Its chemical composition corresponds to the DSTU 2651 and GOST 380 standards.
Classification: Standard-grade structural carbon steel.

Application
St3ps carbon steel is used in flat and shaped steel products, thick plates, hot- and cold-rolled coils, arc-welded pipes and sections, forgings, stampings and other metal components. These are used in construction and machine-building for manufacturing metal structures and components for use in normal temperatures.
Welding
St3pc steel can be welded without limitation. The standard methods include manual-arc, automatic-arc, contact and electroslag welding. Preheating and subsequent heat treatment is recommended for gauges over 36 mm.
