Metinvest has won the first place in the «Business Transformation» category for successful implementation of SAP SuccessFactors - a solution for automatization of processes of personnel performance management. The implementation was executed at the Management Company, at the Illich Iron & Steel Works and Azovstal.
«It was a challenging and promising project, requiring not only technological innovations, but also fundamental changes in culture and processes», - said Yulia Riakhovska, head of Organizational Development Department at Metinvest. - Our huge cross-functional team worked all together as one mechanism in the system communication mode. And we are not going to stop with what we have achieved. The next step will be the introduction of a system to support personnel reserve management processes, as well as learning and development processes.
In the «Innovations» category, Metinvest ranked second place for the implementation of the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud solution (SAP HEC).
- This project of SAP-systems transition to the cloud was the first in Ukraine. No doubts, such projects strengthen the leadership and competitive position of the business. Receiving the SAP Quality Awards is a recognition of professionalism and an example for other progressive Ukrainian companies, - said the Director of SAP Ukraine Maxim Matiash.
Now this cloud migration is considered to be the largest in terms of volume (data) in Central and Eastern Europe.

The official award ceremony of the SAP Quality Awards 2019 was held on May 29 in Prague at the SAP Now 2019 forum. All the winners of the last year’s international competition were also present. Winning the competition gives Metinvest the opportunity to take part in the global SAP competition in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Last year Metinvest won the second place in the global SAP Quality Awards 2018 competition. The company presented to the international jury their production planning project «Сoal-coke- iron cast».
