According to the rating, Metinvest-Shipping has become the absolute leader in the number of bulk cargo shipments through the country's seaports and terminals. Shipping companies working with container cargoes are singled out in a separate category.
Last year, the company forwarded 32.86 million tons of freight, which is 7.5 million tons more than in 2018. The volume of forwarded cargo of Metinvest-Shipping is comparable to the total volume of transshipment of the remaining participants of the top five in the nomination.
The National Maritime Ranking of Ukraine was initiated by the "Ports of Ukraine" magazine and BlackSea Trans information and analytical center. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and specialized associations in the field of water transport support the annual rating. The winners of most of the nominations are determined by the results of the ratings, which are based on the performance of enterprises.
