Dear colleagues,
Today Ukraine unites all possible resources to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The experience of countries where the epidemic has subsided shows the importance of joint action by physicians, the country's leadership, business and the population. But even more depends on our personal responsibility and discipline. Our health and safety are in our own hands.
Our strategy in combating the virus is to reduce the number of contacts where possible. Join efforts to eliminate the risk of infection of our employees, do our best so that the territory of Metinvest would not become a hotbed of coronavirus dissemination.
On the 17th of March, we are introducing simple rules at all enterprises:
- employees who can work remotely will stay home until the 3rd of April. I ask everyone to perform the work responsibly and remember those who continue to be on duty at production;
- we abolish all crowded events. We will communicate with colleagues, partners and customers by phone, via video and internet;
- we cancel all business trips, both abroad and within Ukraine;
- employees at enterprises will receive gloves and masks for travel by public transport to and from work;
- we provide additional means for personal protection and disinfection of public areas.
Friends, now is the time to act consciously, take care of yourself, your family and colleagues. Together we will cope with this challenge!
